Value Workshop: How legal teams create, measure and demonstrate value

About this event

Join us on the 11th May for a unique virtual workshop, delivered in partnership with LexSolutions to explore what real “value” is in the context of your department, your business and your team.

More regulation, increasingly complex supply chains, accelerated digital transformation and most recently – the impact of a the global pandemic, has seen legal departments evolve in real-time with the ever-shifting demands of business.

Within this context, how does your legal department approach value creation? Do you know which activities provide higher value to increase your influence and impact in the organisation? How do you articulate this value effectively to the wider business?

In our upcoming i-LIKE Forum workshop we will use interactive design thinking exercises to jointly explore how to create, measure and demonstrate value - and to understand the different facets of value and how to define and deliver it.

We will also draw on insights from our recent LexisNexis report “Making the intangible, tangible: Demonstrating value as an in-house legal function” which surveyed 330 UK legal departments to share practical peer insights and specific methods on approaching value creation.

Supporting Learning, Innovation, Knowledge and Excellence In-house

The LexisNexis i-LIKE forum brings together senior counsel, knowledge managers and legal operations directors working in-house to exchange ideas and share experiences.

Our vision is to encourage collaboration and innovation to help in-house legal departments to improve performance through the sharing of best practice.

Who should attend?

This session is for GCs and heads of Legal Operations. Marrying design thinking, systemic coaching and practical in-house experience, to give you deeper insights on value and strategies for delivering it.
